so i tried out tumblr for a few days, and now it has been a week, i'm leaving the site up for a while, but you shouldn't really expect new links here, i like the way i can embed pics and video into tumblr, i like the ability to highlight text to quote it, and i love the wysiwyg

i did have my own firefox extensions to help me run this site, and i think i could have come close to what tumblr did but i don't see any reason to go try when their platform is established and has other benefits as well (themes! twitter/facebook integration! you can follow other people!)

plus i've got plenty of other side projects to work on if i want to spend some free time hacking on some code

so tumblr it is! check it out, stop reading this and hit the link above
